Arcos de la Frontera

We've seen and done so much since arriving in Arcos. Our house sits at the top of the old town. We park the car below in the car park then walk up and down tiny narrow one way streets, clearly not meant for cars.
I might be the only one in our group that thinks this is fun.
Cal, Kathy and Bob below standing outside our door:
I love the exercise. I feel I can eat more food and drink more beer.

Today we drove to the beach at Jerez. I couldn't pass up the chance to swim in the Atlantic Ocean in Spain!!
Me on the left Kathy on the right.
Surprisingly, it wasn't that cold In the water. Cal and Bob stayed on the beach.
Of course we had to have our daily ration of beer. "Drink beer instead of water"...I think that's what I was told. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking with it!
I'm the one in the plaid hijab...I know...but it was so windy...and my hair was blowing all over the place!
For lunch I had Tail of the Bull on a bed of french fries. It was really delicioso!
Walking on what would be considered the "malecon" if we were in Mexico not sure what they call it here.
They have really colorful detailed graffiti here.
A small plaza...we just missed Viewing the
interior of the 16th century church.
These are fresh flower probably hung under these tiles on Easter.
The blue tiles on the church tower demonstrate the early infuence of the Moors.
Beautiful valted ceiling in Arcos. We met the artist restoring the oval paintings in the corners of the ceiling.
I have more...more...more to share, but headed to Sevilla for one night and loss of WiFi.
